Ballbusters vs. Diablos

This game sparked the 4th Season of Bordentown stickball, and there was no better way to start of the year than a lead off home run by Frank Korosec. The Diablos showed everyone that they should nto be take easy, as Pete Pulhac hti a inside the park home run the next at bat. The early 2 run lead didn't last as the Ballbusters were red-hot with their bats. Newly added member, Matt Parsons had a great day, as he went 5-5 hit for the cycle, 2 home runs and5 RBI's. Captain Kenny Ecklemann also did his part as he hit 2 out himslef and drove in 5 RBI's. The Diablos however showed promise of a better year than last year.

Amish Rake Fighters vs. Solo Shots

This long time rivalry was kicked off in week 1,and with no spurise it came down to the very end. AAfter a Taylor Martucci single in the top of the 1st, he scoredd on a Tim Gola error but for the rest of the game the Rake Fighters bats were diminished, as Polkowitz follwed his 3 hit shutout last year on opening night, with a 5 hit, 1 run game. Tim Gola backed up his error, with 2 Solo Shots in the 1st and 3rd innings. Once again, it came down to the end but the Solo Shots pulled it off this time as they start the season 1-0

Young Gunz vs Steriod Sluggers

After much debate early in the day of a possible forfeit from the Young Gunz, Billy Berrios stepped up and got a team together,but it was enough as the Young Gunz did not show up mentally, as they only collected 5 hits and 2 RBI's. Chris Papp, who took over control of a slow Steriod Slugegrs team, kicked off the season with a win, with a big week 1 game over the Young Gunz

Sterios Sluggers win 5-2
