Ballbusters vs Solo Shots
the solo shots showed why they are the leagues top team through the first 6 innings holding the heavy offensive
capabilities of the Ballbusters to 2 runs. however in the top of 7th the solo shots pitcher John Hull was figured out. after
leading off with a triple captain kenny ecklemann came up with two runners .. scoring a run. kenny busted a 3-run homer giving
his team a 1 run lead. the clutch solo shots refused to quit and after taking advantage of errors made had the bases loaded
with "moaning" joanie jazcko up to bat. once again she delivered a clutch hit bringing in 2 runs to capture the victory.
Rake Fighters vs Steriod Sluggers
the rakefighters jumped out to a 4-1 lead after 4 innings.
looking like the team of old they held their 3 run lead with stellar defense and quality pitching. in the fifth the sluggers
made it a little interesting with a 2 run homer slugged by derek chorba. tacking on a couple runs in the 5th and 6th to make
it 6-3 the rakefighters came up to bat in the top of the 7th. all hell broke loose with a barrage of base hits followed by
a grand salami from "that dude" mike medina. the rakefighters put up 8 runs in the half innning giving the already slim chanced
sluggers no chance to come back. the game was called after the police came. final score 14-3 rakefighters win
