The very first game of the season kicked off with the Solo Shots and the Steriod Sluggers. The Solo Shots didn't
hesitate one bit, as they jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning. Then the beating started as they kicked in 4 more runs
and with a 5-0 leade the game got carried away. After hit by hit, it soon became 18-0 and the Steriod Sluggers were beaten
in only 5 complete innings. Joe Polkowitz threw a 3 hit shutout and also threw in 3 K's. Kevin Malloy got the game ball as he went 4-5 with 2 inside the park home runs and 6 RBI's.

The Amish Rake fighters who entered the game with 2 players absent who rather work, still showed up optimistic. As the
favorite coming into the game the Rake Fighters jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the top of the 1st. But the Ballbusters struck
back and tied the game at 2 a piece. Then the Ballbusters stayed hot, as they scored 5 more to make the game 7-2 but the Fighters
kept fighting and scored 2 more but the Ballbusters extended there lead by 2 and with the game closing in it look like it
was ending but down 9-4 then Rake Fighters scored 3 in two innings but it wasn't enough as they fell short and lossed 9-7
