This game, even though each team was missing 3 players, was still played in a 4 on 4 like game. 2 of the best players in the league, from each team, Kevin and Sean Malloy, were absent so this game had to be won old fasion style.....like last year. The Solo Shots jumped out to a 2-0 lead after Birthday Boy Joe Polkowitz hit a hard line drive homerun to help spark up the Solo Shots. Tim Gola followed that, when he called a 3 run shot, shortly before he stepped up to bat, and tanked one over the centerfield fence. The Ballbusters got one run in on Derek Prokops single.Kenny Ecklemann , the Ballbusters starting pitcher left the game early after throwing up in the middle of a game. But after Tim Gola's 2 RBI Double, the game looekd out of reach. John Hull and Kyle McGonigal help pitch in a total of 4 RBI's as well. The Solo Shots held on to win it 11-2

As the Steriod Sluggers were still loking for their first win of their francise, it looked like maybe they could do it with the Rake Fighters down to only 4 Players. Steriod Sluggers broke the game open when Brandon Fraser in his first game of the year, hit a solo shot. With their first lead of the year, they weren't able to hold it, as the Rake Fighters went off in one inning and scoring 6. Evan Martucci who was quite last year, not hitting any home runs, struck a 3 run shot. Evan also blasted 7 RBI's, and won the Fedex Player of the Week Award. His brother also chipped in 2 RBI's on 2 Doubles. Rake Fighters win 12-2.
