Solo Shots vs Young Gunz

Week 2 got under way in a big fasion. The Solo Shots and Young Gunz faced off in a Williamsburg Classic and combined for 12 Home Runs. That total is the highest in a single game in league history. The Solo Shots however won big 19-7. They were powered by Tim Gola who set two league records in one game. He hit 5 home runs, breaking his former record of 4 and had 11 RBI's which is also a league record for a single game. Joe Polkowitz, Wayne Cobbs and John Hull also added one home run, while the Young Gunz' Eric Cifelli hit his first two of the season.

Ballbusters vs Steriod Sluggers

After two huge wins in week 1, the two Conference leaders faced off. The Ballbusters wasted no time as they showed why they are on of the best offenses in the game. They hit 6 home runs while the Steriod Sluggers struggled. the Ballbusters had Matt Parsons back after an offseason injury and he got back to his last season form right away as he hit two home runs. Sean Eleuteri continued his hot hitting and improved his batting average to .900. The Steriod Sluggers looked like Sluggers of old as they fall to 1-1, as the Ballbusters improve their record to a league best 2-0.

Diablos vs Welcome to Amish Country......

Taylor Martucci set the record for strikeouts in a game with 6 as his team went on to earn their first win of the season. It sure wasn't easy though. The Welcome to Amish Country...... had a 3-0 lead going into the top of the 5th but after back to back shots from Pete Pulhac and Zac Bohanon, the lead was cut to 1. Pete Pulhac tied the game up his next at bat with another solo shot, but the Rake Fighters scored one more in the bottom of the 6th on a Diablos error. The Rake Fighters closed it out in the top of the 7th and tie up the conference record with a 1-1 record.
